Fallen Stock Collection and Disposal

Disposal
We offer a disposal only service. Simply bring your fallen stock to our site in Knighton, Powys in your own vehicle and our helpful staff will unload the vehicle for you.

Collection and disposal
Make a booking online or over the phone with our friendly office staff. We will send one of our experienced, licensed, slaughtemen to collect the animal as soon as possible. We use bespoke vehicles and winches to make collection. To make collection as hassle-free as possible, please let us know of any special requirements or access issues at the point of booking.

If you would like to arrange a collection, use our online booking form, or call 01547 528654. If it is outside of office hours, select option '1' to leave an answerphone message.

Humane Slaughter
We offer humane slaughter with a stunner at no additional cost. We also offer the services of a trained rifleman, if you require rifle services please let us know. Occasionally, we may advise that we euthanise an animal with a rifle, for safety purposes and to reduce unnecessary distress for the animal. Please let us know if you require humane slaughter at the point of booking.

If you have an animal in distress and it is outside of our opening hours, we have a slaughterman on-call. Simply call 01547 528654 and select option '2' to be transferred to the emergency line.

TSE and Scrapie testing
Our site is equipped and licensed for the safe collection of samples to test for TSE and Scrapie. All over 48 month cattle are automatically included in the TSE testing scheme, at no extra charge. Scrapie testing is available on request.

Invoicing and NFSCo
We are members of the NFSCo and one of their preferred collectors. If you are a member of the NFSCo, we can collect your animals under the scheme. Alternatively, you can set up an online account on our website, free of charge, and have access to your stock collection history online. We will invoice you directly for any stock collections, at the end of the month, or you can pay at the time of collection.
